Meet our Pro-Staff

Marc Anthony of Central Illinois, brings over 30 years of experience hunting big bucks. His wall is full of Pope & Young's and Boone & Crockett's....all taken with a bow! Marc has been featured in many major magazines and on radio with ESPN. He is on a very short list of hunters who have taken more than one "Booner" whitetail with a bow, five to be exact. No other hunter in the world can claim this honor!  The truth is that Marc has many whitetail racks that he hasn't even entered into the books. His last 10 whitetail racks average over 160"! No game farm or fenced - in animals here, all fair chase. Most of Marc's animals were taken on the ground and not in a tree stand. When Marc is not hunting, you can usually find him writing as he is an active member of the Outdoors Writers Association of America. Marc is married with a wonderful wife and 3 great children.

Brent Van Hoveln

Brent lives here in Central Ilinois. and Whitetail Deer is his passion. He not only hunts them, he also raises them. Brent will hunt only mature bucks and does and is a great manager of wildlife. He has been an avid bow hunter for 24 years. His best buck is a 243" monster shot early October in 2005. This buck was the largest wild whitetail ever harvested on video!  Brent is married with a wonderful wife and 2 children, whom all love the outdoors. When he isn't hunting, Brent is improving the overall wildlife habitat on his farms by creating food plots and other essential changes to the landscape. Brent's newest passion is filming every hunt possible for his family, himself and friends to share with others. Brent is a multiple record book holder of whitetail deer and his experience will truly be appreciated here at Non Typical Hunter!

Drake Anthony

Drake Anthony is our Jr. Pro Staff advisor. Drake's ability to communicate with today's youth is an asset to not only Non Typical Hunter, but to the hunting community as well. Drake is an avid outdoorsman who has a passion for hunting and wildlife. Drake's literacy is exceptional on both an academic level and on an instructional level. Non Typical hunter is pleased to have a talented young hunter who can help "get the message across" to other young, interested individuals. Gino DeFeudis

Gino is our East Coast Pro Staff advisor. Gino started hunting with his Grandfather when he was just 10 years old. He has hunted and trapped many species of animals during his childhood and throughout his adult life. By Gino's own admission, he was hooked on hunting deer the very first time he saw one in the woods! He's an experienced hunter who has traveled North America hunting down the whitetail deer. From Canada to the entire Midwest states, to the wild west, Gino's been there! Although Gino is a driven hunter, hunting is his form of stress relief, relaxation and his overall sanity. Non Typical Hunter is proud to have Gino DeFeudis added to the Pro Staff, as finding a truly accomplished and well disciplined hunter with decades of proven success, is a real asset to our company. Gino sums up his love for the outdoors as follows: "There is nothing like the smell of the Spring air and turkeys gobbling, or the crisp fall air and the sound of a twig snapping. I can't imagine a life without hunting". Gino is married with a wonderful wife and 4 great children.
